6/2/26 Dundalk

Thursday's winner at Thurles was Salvator Mundi. The 1/7 favourite led early and was 4 lengths clear at halfway, he had an increased advantage 4 out keeping on well and very easily beating Fishery Lane by 28 lengths. In the other race Gin Tonic failed to finish being pulled up 2 out.

Dundalk stages Friday's action where on a 7 race card there are 2 main events.

4.45: Book Online at DundalkStadium.com Race.

3: Valiant Force: A decent horse who was a bit below form when fifth on this course 72 days ago. He tracked the leaders early sitting 4th a furlong out but having no extra in the closing stages. That was his first run for a new yard and he should bounce back here picking up a 6th career win.

5.45: Bar 1 Betting Bet 10 Get 50 Free Bets Race.

2: Fate's Gambit: A promising horse who was 2nd over course and distance on debut two weeks ago. He led early but was 3rd at halfway, he got to the front for a second time 1 1/2 out being passed inside the final furlong. With improvement likely he can go one better here.

5/2/26 Thurles

Our winner on Wednesday at Punchestown was Crecora Hills. The 6/5 favourite was 3rd at halfway making progress to lead 2 out, she came under strong pressure before the last but kept on well on the run-in beating Sophia Rose by 5 1/2 lengths. The days other pick Mojoe was 3rd in a race won by James The Brave who beat Lough Nigara by a neck.

There are 7 races at Thurles on Thursday with 2 standing out.

1.07: Horse & Jockey Beginners Chase.

6: Salvator Mundi: A smart horse who's last win came in a Grade 1 Novice Hurdle at Aintree. He was 2nd on chase debut on this course back in November before going on to finish 6th behind Romeo Coolio in the Racing Post Novices Chase at Leopardstown 41 days ago. That was a decent run considering it was in a Grade 1 and he should open his chase account here in these calmer waters.

3.27: Thurles Rated Novice Hurdle.

4: Gin Tonic: A good horse who won on debut at Wexford then showed improvement finishing second at Fairyhouse when last seen in November. He made progress from 2 out soon taking 2nd keeping on well on the run-in. He returns here after a break and can go one better.

4/2/26 Punchestown

Tuesday's winner at Fairyhouse was Oldschool Outlaw. The 1/2 favourite was 2nd early improving to lead from 3 out, she travelled well going clear at the last and easily beating Place De La Nation by 9 lengths. In the other race Springhill Warrior was 2nd. The 2/5 favourite recovered from a mistake at the fifth disputing the lead from 2 out, he was passed before the last keeping on at one pace allowing Harwa to win by 8 1/2 lengths.

Punchestown stages 7 races on Wednesday with 2 features.

1.03: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Chase.

4: Crecora Hills: A useful horse who has one win from two runs this season, that came at Naas in November where she travelled well to lead before the last keeping on and comfortably coming home by 5 lengths. She was a creditable 3rd on this course on her last outing five weeks ago and she can return to winning ways here.

2.48: ThatPrizeGuy.co.uk Novice Handicap Hurdle.

3; Mojoe: A fair horse who took a big step forward when tasting victory on this course 23 days ago. He was 8th entering the straight making headway approaching the last, he led in the closing stages winning by 1/2 a length. There is definitely more to come and he should follow up here.

3/2/26 Fairyhouse

On Monday at Leopardstown two of my picks won. Narciso Has made all the running and was 2 lengths clear at halfway, the 1/1 favourite asserted himself before the last beating Selma De Vary by 4 1/2 lengths. In the Irish Arkle Romeo Coolio recovered from a poor first half of the race making headway to lead early on the run-in, he was 3 lengths clear 150 yards from the finish just holding on to beat Kargese by a neck. The other pick Galopin Des Champs was 3rd in a race won by Fact To File who beat Gaelic Warrior by 5 lengths.

On Tuesday there are 7 races at Fairyhouse with 2 highlights.

1.50: Betvictor Still Best Odds Guaranteed Maiden Hurdle.

10: Springhill Warrior: A promising horse who was 2nd at Punchestown when last seen 23 days ago. He was 3rd two out taking 2nd at the last keeping on at the same pace on the run-in. His stable is in good form and with another bold showing likely he can go one better here.

2.25: Betvictor Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle (Grade 3.)

6: Oldschool Outlaw: A decent horse who picked up a career best win on hurdles debut at Naas 50 days ago. She led from 3 out and despite being strongly pressed after the last she stayed on well coming home by 1/2 a length. This exciting prospect should be hard to beat here completing a hat-trick.

2/2/26 Leopardstown

Sunday's best at Leopardstown came from Marine Nationale and Lossiemouth who were both 2nd. In the Dublin Chase Marine Nationale made headway into 3rd three out sitting 2nd entering the straight, he had dropped to 3rd again before the last having no extra on the run-in taking 2nd near the line. Majborough won by an easy 19 lengths. The Irish Champion Hurdle saw Lossiemouth track the leaders early improving to sit 2nd entering the straight. The 4/6 favourite made no further impression allowing Brighterdaysahead to win by 3 1/4 lengths. In the other race Final Demand was 3rd with the contest going to Kaid D'authie who beat Western Fold by 4 1/4 lengths.

The 7 race card that was due to have taken place at Leopardstown on Saturday is now Monday's action as the Dublin Racing Festival reaches it’s conclusion with 3 Grade one’s taking centre stage.

1.50: Gannon's City Recovery & Recycling Services Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 1.)

4: Narciso Has: A good horse who's last win came in a Grade 2 over course and distance on Boxing Day. He led for a second time three out going clear early in the straight, he had an increased advantage on the run-in coming home by 11 lengths. He is the one to beat here and should follow up.

2.55: Goffs Irish Arkle Novice Chase ( Grade 1.)

2: Romeo Coolio: A fine horse who is unbeaten since switching to fences completing a hat-trick on this course last time. He was 4th at halfway improving to lead close to home winning by 1/2 a length. With more to come he should achieve the 4-timer here.

3.30: Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup (Grade 1.)

6: Galopin Des Champs: A standout horse who won this race for a 3rd time 12 months ago. He was 2 lengths clear at halfway eventually coming home by 4 3/4 lengths. He suffered a rare defeat when 3rd in the Savills Chase over course and distance on his return in December but should make it four gold cup's in a row here.

1/2/26 Leopardstown

None of Saturday's tips ran because the meeting at Leopardstown was called off. 17mm of rain in 24 hours made the hurdle track unfit for racing. The meeting has been rearranged for Monday.

If an 8am inspection is passed then day 1 of the Dublin Racing Festival will now be on Sunday at Leopardstown with 3 Grade one's topping the bill.

1.10: Ladbrokes Novice Chase (Grade 1.)

1: Final Demand: A top-class horse who made it 2 from 2 over fences when taking the Grade 1 Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick in December. He made all the running asserting himself from 2 out, he kept on well easily coming home by 8 lengths. He is hard to look past here and should give his trainer a 6th win in this race since 2020.

2.10: Ladbrokes Dublin Chase (Grade 1.)

4: Marine Nationale: An excellent chaser who won the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham last season and followed up with a Grade 1 at Punchestown in April. He ran well when second behind the reopposing Solness over course and distance on his return during the Christmas meeting recovering from an early mistake and can go one better here.

3.20: Timeless Sash Windows Irish Champion Hurdle ( Grade 1.)

6: Lossiemouth: A brilliant hurdler who has won nine Grade one's her last on this course 5 weeks ago. She was 2nd at halfway leading at the last and beating Brighterdaysahead by a length. She faces that rival again here and should win completing a 5-timer in the process.
