The week began on a poor note with my pick Barbados finishing 6th. The 13/8 favourite was 5th at halfway but had no extra to offer from 2 1/2 furlongs out. The race was won by Jerandme who beat Grandmaster Flash by 5 1/2 lengths.
Just a quick reminder that the 8 race card that should have taken place at Navan on Sunday is now happening tomorrow (Tuesday. ) The Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle is still at 2.20 where my pick remains Darver Star while the Ten Up Novice Chase still goes off at 4.05 where Farouk D’alene stays as my tip.
