Tuesday was a mixed day for my picks at Roscommon, in the 5.10 Roman Moon was 8th. The 7/2 shot was in midfield but weakened entering the straight. Pandora Lovegood won the race by an easy 5 lengths. In the evenings highlight Beamish won. The 100/30 chance was slowly away but made headway from 3 out. He travelled well to dispute the lead from a furlong out staying on well to hit the front close to home, he beat Yaxeni by 1/2 a length.
Tipperary is the destination on Wednesday for an 8 race card with two main events.
4.40: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race.
4: Chocquinte: A useful mare who was a course and distance winner back in May. She was a good 3rd behind Geocentric in a listed race at Cork when last seen 3 weeks ago and should continue her recent progression here making her the pick.
5.10: Coolmore Ten Sovereigns Tipperary Stakes.
2: The Antarctic: Lost his unbeaten run when finishing 7th in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot 13 days ago. He wasn't disgraced that day and with his trainer going well he should get back to winning ways here and pick up his second course and distance win.
