Wednesday was a mixed day for my 3 picks,at Naas Ano Syra was 4th. The 5/1 shot was 7th at halfway. She made progress to sit 5th 2 out keeping on well to gain a place close to home, Pirate Jenny won the race by 3/4 of a length. In the other big Naas race Lady Hollywood won,the 100/30 chance was 3rd early making headway to lead from a furlong out. She kept on well in the closing stages beating Mauiewawie by 1 1/2 lengths. At Limerick Chinx Of Light failed to finish. The 6/5 favourite was leading when he fell at the 6th. Mi Lighthouse won by a neck.
Two more meetings take place on Thursday with 7 races at both Leopardstown and Limerick with 3 contests standing out.
Leopardstown 6.00: Silver Flash Stakes (Group 3)
3: Never Ending Story: A horse with promise who won a maiden at The Curragh when last seen 27 days ago. She was suited by the increase in trip that day and with improvement likely expect a bold show from this exciting prospect who can give her trainer another win in this race.
Leopardstown 6.30: Japan Racing Association Tyros Stakes (Group 3)
1: Age Of Kings: A lightly-raced winner who was 4th behind Shartash in the Railway Stakes at The Curragh 26 days ago. The step up to 7f should suit and he looks like the one to beat.
Limerick 6.45: Shoe Rescue Hurdle.
2: The Bosses Oscar: A useful chaser who despite not winning in his last 12 runs produced an encouraging performance when 2nd at Wexford 57 days ago. On form he is a leading contender here and he can get back to winning ways.
