A poor Saturday at Fairyhouse saw Cayd Boy finish 5th, the 85/40 favourite was in touch but wasn't fluent from two out. He had no extra before the last dropping to 5th close to home, upfront Rebel Gold beat Dunvegan by 9 lengths. It was worse in the other race where Jack In The Box failed to finish. The 7/2 favourite was in 4th when he made a mistake and fell 2 out, Must Be Obeyed won the race by an easy 13 lengths.
Eight races take place at Punchestown on Sunday where two big graded contests take centre stage.
12.10: Skybet Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle (Grade 2)
2: Impaire Et Passe: Looked like a top prospect when winning by an easy 18 lengths on hurdles debut at Naas last month. That performance saw him go to the top of the market in the few Cheltenham Festival races for which he has entries and with improvement expected he should take the step up in grade here in his stride.
2.10: Madigan Group Novice Chase (Grade 3)
5: Ha D’or: A promising horse who picked up his career best win on fences debut at Fairyhouse 25 days ago. He romped home by 11 lengths making a good impression in the process and with further progress on the cards he should go well again as he attempts to follow up.
