A good day at Thurles on Sunday saw Allegorie De Vassy win, the 1/8 favourite made all the running and despite nearly unseating her rider at the 1st she recovered to have an 8 length advantage at halfway. That lead was extended from 2 out and she was never troubled very easily beating Brides Hill by 19 lengths. In the other Grade 2 Chacun Pour Soi was 3rd, the 9/4 shot was 4th at halfway disputing the lead from 2 out. He led narrowly soon after but was passed entering the straight. He had no extra allowed the front two to pull away, Fakir D’Oudairies beat French Dynamite by 6 lengths.
After Sunday's action there is no Irish racing on Monday, meetings do take place at Kempton which has an early morning inspection to pass, Southwell, Ffos Las and Wolverhampton. The next Irish card is at Down Royal on Tuesday tips for the main events will be up on Monday night.
