The weekend finished on a poor note at Killarney with the best coming from Party Central who was 4th, the 7/4 favourite tracked the leaders sitting 3rd at halfway. She improved into 2nd entering the straight but a mistake 3 out ended her challenge. She had no extra in 4th from 2 out while upfront Shecouldbeanything beat Walk With Paul by a length. The other listed contest saw Kilbree Warrior finish 6th in a race won by Mighty Tom who beat Magnor Glory by a comfortable 10 lengths.
A second eight race card takes place at Killarney on Monday night where 2 stand out.
6.25: M.D. O'Shea & Sons Handicap Hurdle.
14: The Big Chap: A horse in good recent form which culminated with a career best win at Kilbeggan 25 days ago. He battled well in the closing stages and despite coming under pressure he won by 1/2 a length. He goes significantly back up in trip here but should be respected and he can follow up.
6.55: Boylesports An Riocht Chase (Grade 3)
1: Saint Sam: A smart chaser who didn't need to be at his best to win at Tramore when last seen 29 days ago. He made all the running being unchallenged and coming home by a very easy 20 lengths. With much more to offer he is the one to beat in what is a very competitive Grade 3.
