Our winner at Killarney on Tuesday was Satin, the 9/2 shot led early but faced a challenge from 2 out. Despite edging to the left inside the final furlong she ran on well in the last 110 yards comfortably beating Marvelosa by 2 1/2 lengths. In the other race Water Nymph was a non-runner, Vain Gloria took the contest beating Golden Spangle by 2 3/4 lengths.
A 3rd day at Killarney on Wednesday sees another 8 races with 2 highlights.
5.20: Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race.
1: Deepone: Looked a useful prospect when winning at Leopardstown on debut 61 days ago. He challenged from a furlong out leading in the final 150 yards keeping on well and coming home by 2 1/2 lengths. Despite a penalty he definitely has more to offer and can follow up here.
6.20: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cairn Rouge Stakes.
2: Mea Domina: A decent filly who was 2nd behind Goldana in the Group 3 Gladness Stakes at The Curragh when last seen in April. She led until the final furlong keeping on at the same pace going down by 1 3/4 lengths. She wears a tongue strap for the first time here and on form she has an excellent chance to take this.
