Saturday's winner at The Curragh was Bucanero Fuerte, the 9/4 shot was prominent leading from 2 out. He had a 2 length lead entering the final furlong keeping on well and going further clear in the final 100 yards easily beating Porta Fortuna by 4 lengths. In the days Group 3 Commanche Falls was 4th in a race won by Moss Tucker who beat Go Athletico by 2 1/4 lengths.
A busy Sunday sees seven races at both Downpatrick and The Curragh with two standing out.
Downpatrick 2.40: Killultagh Estates Rated Hurdle.
2: An Mhi: A useful hurdler who completed a hat-trick winning by an easy 17 lengths at Uttoxeter 42 days ago. He made all the running drawing clear from 2 out never being troubled. He holds the edge on form here and can achieve his 4-timer.
The Curragh 3.50: Michael John Kennedy Memorial Irish EBF Stakes.
8: Azazat: A lightly-raced horse who was 7th behind Savethelastdance in the Irish Oaks on this course when last seen 22 days ago. This is an easier race and with her yard in good form she should go well here and get back on track.
