Friday's best performance at Dundalk came from Staysound Susie who was 3rd, the 4/1 shot was in midfield sitting 6th at halfway. She moved into 4th a furlong out taking 3rd in the final 150 yards, upfront Ohailbhic beat Miss Black Jack by 1/2 a length. In the other contest Hoover Dam was 4th in a race won by Badda Bing who beat Al Mudhaffar by 1 1/2 lengths.
A top-class 7 race card takes place at Gowran Park on Saturday with 2 topping the bill.
2.17: Red Mills Trial Hurdle (Grade 3)
5: Lantry Lady: Looked a good prospect when winning over course and distance on debut at this meeting 12 months ago. She led from 2 out asserting herself before the last drawing clear and coming home by a very easy 14 lengths. Despite not being seen since which is a slight concern she can overcome that and follow up here.
3.27: Red Mills Chase (Grade 2)
1: Saint Sam: A very smart chaser who after winning a Grade 3 at Killarney and a race at Galway was well on his way to completing a hat-trick when he fell at the last at Listowel back in September. He has been given a decent amount of time to recover and if close to his best he is hard to look past here.
