Thursday's winner at Limerick was Hurricane Georgie, the 10/11 favourite was always prominent taking 2nd at the last. She kept on well despite coming under pressure to lead in the closing stages beating Bella Bliss by 3/4 of a length. In the other contest Maidenstreetprince was 7th in a race won by Mayor's Walk who beat Moonovercloon by 1 3/4 lengths.
There are 8 races at The Curragh and 7 at Downpatrick on a busy Friday night with 2 highlights.
The Curragh 7.20: Quinnbet Emerald Mile Handicap.
2: Chazzesmee: A horse with a decent record who showed improvement to win the Irish Lincolnshire over course and distance in March, he travelled well making good headway to lead inside the final furlong beating Smooth Tom by a length. His run in the Lincoln at Doncaster came too soon after and he can return to winning ways here on reappearance.
Downpatrick 7.35: Dennison Commercials Hunters Chase.
3: Billaway: A useful chaser who won this race last year beating the reopposing Vaucelet by 3 lengths. His best finish since was a close 2nd at Naas in February, his runs at the Cheltenham and Punchestown festivals can be overlooked and he can take this for a second year.
