Saturday's only winner came at Navan where Old Faithful tracked the leaders early challenging from a furlong out, the 9/4 favourite led narrowly 100 yards from the finish keeping on well and just holding on to beat Going Remote by a neck. In the other races Asian Daze was 2nd going down to Everlasting by 1/2 a length while at Punchestown Gaelic Arc was 3rd in a race won by The Banger Doyle who beat Great Bear by a short head.
Eight races take place at Punchestown on Sunday where there are 2 features.
1.10: Thank You Tom Maguire From All At Punchestown Hurdle.
4: Ash Tree Meadow: A smart chaser who enjoyed a career best win in the Grade 3 An Riocht Chase at Killarney when last seen 27 days ago. He made all the running asserting himself before the last, he stayed on well on the run-in easily beating French Dynamite by 5 1/2 lengths. He switches to hurdles here and looks like the one to beat.
2.20: Punchestown Handicap Chase.
13: Mousey Brown: A promising horse who has been a good hurdles winner in her career. She ran well to taste victory at Kilbeggan a week ago leading at the last pulling away on the run-in and coming home by 3 1/4 lengths. There is more to come and she can follow up here.
