Thursday's best at Leopardstown came in the days Group 3 where Special Wan was 3rd. The 9/4 favourite was 4th early moving briefly into 2nd entering the final furlong, she dropped to 3rd close to home while upfront Jancis beat Bluedrum by 2 1/4 lengths. In the other race Narmar was 9th with the contest going to Lady Lunette who beat Snellen by 1 1/4 lengths.
A busy Friday sees 8 races at both Dundalk and Kilbeggan with 2 standing out.
Dundalk 1.25: Ladies Day At Dundalk Handicap.
9: Harry's Hill: A course and distance winner who was a respectable 9th at The Curragh when last seen 12 days ago. He ran well until coming under pressure a furlong out making no impression in the closing stages. With many in this field having questions to answer he can capitalise and win again here.
Kilbeggan 7.55: Kilmurray's Homevalue Hardware Mullingar Midlands National Handicap Chase.
12: Mousey Brown: A decent horse who opened his chase account on this course last month and followed up at Punchestown 33 days ago. She led from 2 out asserting herself before the last and easily coming home by 9 1/2 lengths. There is more to come in this sphere and she can complete the hat-trick.
