The best on a poor Wednesday at Listowel came from Le Coq Hardi who was 5th in a race won by Zariygann who beat Gaucher by 6 1/2 lengths. In the Kerry National Perceval Legallois finished 6th with Flooring Porter taking the contest beating Horantzau D'Airy by 4 1/4 lengths.
Listowel moves on to it’s 5th day on Thursday with 7 races and 2 standing out.
2.55: Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle.
1: A Tipp For Gold: A horse in decent form who was a good 4th on hurdles debut at Ballinrobe 45 days ago. He made progress after a slight mistake 3 out soon taking 4th, despite having no extra on the run-in he was clear of the rest. He should build on that performance here dropping back in trip and can pick up his 1st win.
3.30: Liam Healy Memorial Lartigue Hurdle.
7: Pinot Gris: A promising horse who was a creditable 6th on the flat at Galway when last seen in July. He achieved a career best win on his last hurdles start at Bellewstown in late April coming home by an easy 11 lengths so he is definitely a player here who can get back to winning ways on his return to this sphere.
