Upfront Tangapour won beating J M's Joy by 4 lengths. Over at Fairyhouse Machismo was 4th In a race won by Belle La Grand who beat Karate Kid by an easy 6 1/2 lengths.

4: Buddy One: A smart hurdler who was last seen finishing a creditable 4th behind Teahupoo in the Grade 1 Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown in May. Despite being off 159 days he is the pick on form and if his jumping holds up he will be very hard to beat here on chase debut.

8: Will Do: A useful horse who's last win was at Thurles in November last year. He put in his best recent performance when 4th at Punchestown 5 months ago. He tracked the leaders early taking 3rd two out, he dropped to 4th at the last keeping on at one pace. Despite that he looks the way to go here on his first start over the larger obstacles.
