The best on Wednesday at Dundalk came from Liltia who was 2nd. The 6/5 favourite made headway from 3 out going 2nd soon after, she kept on well but failed to reach the winner Pearl Jewel who came home by 2 1/4 lengths. In the other race Mveve was 3rd with the contest going to Queens Fury who beat Ardagh Red by 2 1/4 lengths.
If a 7.30am inspection is passed then Thurles stages 7 races on Thursday with 2 standing out.
12.35: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase.
3: Jigoro: A useful hurdler who's best run this year was a 2nd in a Grade 2 at Punchestown in January. He was a bit below form when last seen on the same course in May but he has performed well in both group and listed company and he can make a winning start here over the larger obstacles.
2.05: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle.
3: Reina Del Mar: A horse with promise who has been a good flat winner in her career. She caught the eye when 2nd at Cork 18 days ago sitting 5th at halfway improving to take 2nd close to home. She definitely has more to come and can pick up a 4th win here.
