The winner on Tuesday at Dundalk was Brigadier Kakuru. The 4/5 favourite made all the running being strongly pressed inside the final furlong, despite having his lead reduced he kept on well just beating Suerte by a head. The days other pick Aird was 4th in a race won by Pavilion End who beat Babich by a short head.
On Wednesday there are 7 races at Clonmel with 2 features.
12.25: Jossestown Handicap Chase.
3: Hillsdale: An interesting horse who picked up a career best win on his 4th fences start at Naas 30 days ago. He was in midfield making headway from 4 out, he led before the last staying on strongly and easily coming home by 11 lengths. Despite a weight rise he has to be taken seriously and can follow up here.
1.30: Munster Hurdle.
4: Bunting: A useful hurdler who won his first two starts including his Irish debut at Limerick before moving up to Grade 1 company where his best finish was a 4th in the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown. He was last seen finishing 3rd on the flat at Killarney back in May and despite being off 8 months he looks like the one to beat here.
