Monday's winner came at Down Royal where Favori De Champdou disputed the lead early moving to the front 3 out, he asserted himself before the last keeping on well and comfortably beating Jumping Jet by 7 lengths. Over at Wexford Walnut Beach was 9th in a race won by Duke Otto who beat Addragoole by a short head.
After today's action Irish racing takes a 2 day break. There are meetings at Wetherby, Exeter and Wolverhampton on Tuesday with Haydock, Huntingdon and Southwell on Wednesday. The next Irish card is at Cork on Thursday tips for the highlights will be up on Wednesday night.
