Both of Sunday’s winners came at Leopardstown. In the early race Henri Matisse was 4th entering the straight making headway from 1 1/2 out. The 6/4 favourite stayed on well to lead close to home beating Comanche Brave by 1/2 a length. In the other Group 3 Delacroix made all the running going clear from a furlong out. He stayed on strongly easily beating Lambourn by 2 1/4 lengths. Over at Downpatrick Iris Emery failed to finish being pulled up 3 out.
After today's action Irish racing takes a break on Monday. There are meetings at Wincanton, Newcastle and Wolverhampton. The next Irish card is at Limerick on Tuesday tips for the highlights will be up on Monday night.
