The best at Down Royal on Friday came from Emerald Harmony who was 4th in a race won by Aurora Nova who beat Moral Turpitude by 2 3/4 lengths. In the other race Kansas was a non-runner.
A busy Saturday sees 7 races at both Limerick and Down Royal with 2 main events.
Limerick 4.00: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Martin Molony Stakes.
2: Queenstown: A smart horse who was a bit below form when finishing 11th in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket on his last outing back in October. He was prominent early challenging from halfway, he was passed 2 out weakening soon after. He drops back down in trip here but if he returns anywhere near his best he will be tough to beat.
Down Royal 4.30: Boylesports Ulster Derby.
1: Acapulco Bay: A lightly-raced horse who was a good 3rd behind Zahrann in the listed King George V Cup at Leopardstown 16 days ago. He improved from a furlong out but was slightly hampered managing to take 3rd close to home. He makes his handicap debut here and can pick up a 2nd career win.
