Friday's winner came at Cork where Bllie Frechette was prominent early sitting 2nd four out, she challenged soon after leading from 2 out. She asserted herself before the last keeping on well and comfortably beating Luker's Tipple by 5 lengths. Over at Kilbeggan Spanish Harlem was a non-runner.
A Saturday double header sees 8 races at Dundalk and 7 at Limerick with 2 standing out.
Dundalk 1.20: Ladies Day At Dundalk Handicap.
3: Little Queenie: A decent horse who has won her last 3 starts here including this race 12 months ago. She was a bit below form when 7th in the Rockingham Handicap at The Curragh 2 weeks ago but that can be discounted and with blinkers on for her all-weather return she can defend her crown.
Limerick 1.32: Dillon Waste & Recycling Rated Race.
4: No Alibi: A lightly-raced horse who opened her account at Cork when last seen 53 days ago. She travelled well to lead inside the final furlong just holding on and winning by a nose. Further improvement is expected and she can follow up here.
