7/7/25 Roscommon

After a day off Irish racing returns on Monday with 8 contests at Roscommon where 2 stand out.

5.40: FrenchPark Maiden Hurdle.

4: Ned In The Park: A decent hurdler who was a very good 3rd at Punchestown when last seen 30 days ago. He travelled well sitting 2nd at halfway but had dropped to 3rd after the last, he had no extra keeping on at one pace. He should build on that here and can pick up a 1st career win.

6.43: Supervalu Co. Roscommon Ladies Day Novice Hurdle.

1: Fairbanks: A useful horse who won on his second hurdles start at Ballinrobe in May. He was prominent early leading before the 3rd, despite being challenged he stayed on well pulling away in the final 200 yards and coming home by 3 1/2 lengths. His run back on the flat at Royal Ascot can be overlooked and with more to come he can resume winning ways here.
