On Saturday at The Curragh both my picks won. Constitution River made all the running asserting himself inside the final furlong comfortably beating Geryon by 2 lengths. In the other group 2 Composing sat 2nd leading narrowly from 2 out. The 4/5 favourite kept on well beating Suzie Songs by 2 1/2 lengths. Over at Killarney Birdie Or Bust was 7th in a race won by Coming Up Easy who beat Dreal Deal by 5 1/2 lengths.
There are 7 races at Naas on Sunday with 2 main events.
2.50: Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden.
2: Unbreakable Duke: A horse with promise who got back on track when 3rd over course and distance 3 weeks ago. He was prominent leading in the final 150 yards but he was passed soon after having no extra. Despite crossing the line 2nd he was demoted to 3rd in the stewards room after appearing to cause interference. He returns to maiden company here and can win on his 4th start.
3.25: Tally-Ho Stud Irish EBF Ballyogan Stakes (Group 3.)
11: Sky Majesty: A smart horse who picked up a career best win in a listed race over course and distance 32 days ago. She disputed the lead from 2 out soon getting to the front and despite being strongly pressed she held on to win by 3/4 of a length. She should build on that here and follow up.
