Sunday's best at Galway came from Arctic Fly who was 2nd. The 16/5 favourite made good headway after the last leading from a furlong out, she was strongly pressed soon after being passed close to home by Aspurofthemoment who won by 3/4 of a length. The other pick Dunum was 3rd in a race won by Princess Child who beat Gleneagle Bay by 1 1/4 lengths.
On Monday we have 8 races at both Cork and Naas with 2 features.
Cork 4.00: Follow Us On Twitter Hurdle.
3: Mozzie's Sister: A useful hurdler who was a creditable 2nd in a listed race at Punchestown when last seen 95 days ago. She was fifth approaching the last staying on well and taking 2nd close to home. She has the best form on show here and can bounce back picking up a 4th career victory.
Naas 4.46: Irish EBF Ballyhane Stakes.
14: Jel Pepper: A fair horse who won on debut at Goodwood and was then a good 3rd in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket 25 days ago. He made headway from 2 out but was soon short of room, he recovered to dispute 2nd inside the final furlong but he had no extra close to home. He can build on that promising run here with further progress likely and he can take this big prize.
