The best at Listowel on Tuesday came from Norwalk Havoc who was 2nd. The 11/4 joint favourite led after 2 furlongs being challenged and passed in the final 100 yards by Cristal Clere who won by 1 1/4 lengths. The other pick Extravagant was 4th in a race won by Limestone who beat Redemption Road by 1/2 a length.
We move onto day 4 of the Listowel harvest festival on Wednesday with 7 races and 2 features.
3.50: Devon Inn Dan Sheehan Memorial Handicap Hurdle.
12: Tackletommywoowoo: A decent horse who picked up a career best win at Wexford 62 days ago. He was 4th entering the straight improving to lead 2 out, he asserted himself before the last coming home by 7 1/2 lengths. Despite this being a tougher race there is more to come and he can follow up here.
4.23: Guinness Kerry National Handicap Chase (Grade 3.)
8: Thecompanysergeant: A good horse who wasn't at his best when 9th in the Galway plate in July. That should be overlooked and if he performs as he did in a couple of races at the start of this year then he can bounce back here and win for a yard that took this contest 12 months ago.
