12/10/25 Naas & Cork

The best on Saturday came at Fairyhouse where Kamikaz Du Plessis was 3rd. The 5/6 favourite recovered from a couple of early mistakes to sit 3rd at halfway, he travelled well approaching the straight but weakened before the last while upfront Barry Lyndon beat Millforce by 2 1/4 lengths. At Naas Nakamura was 4th in a race won by First Approach who beat Luna Mia by 1 1/4 lengths while In the other race Big Gossey was 5th with Thunderbear taking the contest beating Tango Flare by 1 3/4 lengths.

There is another day at Naas on Sunday where on an 8 race card 2 stand out.

3.10: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Garnet Stakes.

1: Swelter: A promising horse who's one win this year came in a Group 3 at Leopardstown in March. She found the Irish 1,000 Guineas too much when last seen finishing 9th but she should be judged on her performances before that. Despite being off 140 days she has a good chance on form and going down in class means she should win again here.

3.45: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bluebell Stakes.

14: It’s A Heartbeat: A fair horse who has 2 wins from 3 runs this year her last coming at The Curragh 50 days ago. She was 5th at halfway travelling well to lead from 1 1/2 out, she asserted herself in the final furlong comfortably coming home by 3 3/4 lengths. She is more than capable of taking the step up here in her stride and she can complete the hat-trick.

There are also 8 races at Cork where in the 4.37 my pick is number 6 Luminous Light.
