An excellent Tuesday saw both my picks win. At Punchestown Glen Kiln led for a second time entering the straight staying on strongly on the run-in and easily beating Busselton by 3 1/2 lengths. Over at Dundalk Valiant Force was 2nd approaching halfway leading from a furlong out, the 15/8 favourite kept on well close to home beating Songhai by 1 1/4 lengths.
There is a 7 race card at Punchestown on Wednesday with 2 features.
3.35: Betvictor Novice Chase (Grade 3)
1: King Of Kingsfield: A useful chaser who has 2 wins from 3 runs this season his last coming at Ballinrobe in August. He was a good 3rd in a Grade three at Roscommon 16 days ago where he was 2nd at halfway dropping to third 2 out. On form he has a good chance and he can quickly return to winning ways here.
4.05: Betvictor Chase (Grade 3.)
4: Heart Wood: A high-class horse who's best performance this year was a 2nd in the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March. He was pulled up at Fairyhouse a month later in a Grade 2 but that can be discounted and despite being off 177 days he is the one to beat here.
