27/11/25 Thurles

Wednesday's best at Dundalk came from Star Strewin who was 3rd. The 5/2 joint favourite travelled well sitting 3rd two out, she kept on at the same pace inside the final furlong while upfront Velarose beat Flanker Jet by 3 lengths. In the other race Valiant Force was 5th with the contest going to Sir Les Patterson who beat Dark Ace by 4 lengths.

Thurles stages 8 races on Thursday with 2 standing out.

12.17: Racing TV Club Day Chase.

4: Affordale Fury: A smart chaser who has run well this year including a second behind Envoi Allen in the Grade 1 Champion Chase at Down Royal when last seen 26 days ago. He made headway from the 6th leading from 4 out, he was passed soon after keeping on at the same pace. He looks hard to beat here and can pick up a 4th career win.

1.57: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle.

10: Jasmine Pearl: A promising- looking horse who was 5th on debut at Wexford in October. She was in midfield early sitting 6th at the last, she kept on in the closing stages without threatening, She showed there was plenty to work on that day but she comes from a top yard so with improvement expected she can achieve a first win.
