After a day off Irish racing returns on Tuesday with 7 contests at Down Royal and 2 main events.
1.20: Franciscan Well Rated Novice Hurdle.
2: Spinola Bay: A good horse who's last win came at Leopardstown on Boxing day. He led for a second time in the closing stages coming home by a neck. He was a creditable 3rd at Cork 2 weeks ago and with further progress expected he should continue his good recent form here for a yard who won this race last year.
2.50: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase.
1: He's Gorgeous: A promising chaser who has one win from three runs this season, that came at Clonmel in early December where he led from 4 out and despite coming under pressure he held on to win by 3/4 of a length. He was an impressive 4th in the Grade 1 Racing Post Novices Chase at Leopardstown 25 days ago and on form he can win again here.
