If an early morning inspection is passed then Irish racing returns on Saturday with 7 contests at Cork where there are 2 main events.
2.15: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Hurdle.
2: Cousin Kate: A lightly-raced horse who has made a good start in handicaps culminating with a win at Limerick just 8 days ago. She made headway from 3 out travelling well to lead approaching the last, she stayed on well coming home by 4 1/2 lengths. Despite a weight rise another good run is expected and she can follow up here.
3.22: EasyFix Equine Handicap Chase.
7: Milan Forth: A fair horse who impressed when winning twice in early 2025. He was pulled up before the last on his first start for a new yard at Thurles 2 weeks ago but the quick turnaround suggests he has recovered well. Dropping slightly back down in trip will suit and he should win again here.
