An excellent day saw both my picks win. At Killarney Cigamia was 2nd at halfway challenging 1 1/2 furlongs out. She led narrowly soon after keeping on best in the closing stages to beat Alizarine by 3/4 of a length. In the big race at Sligo Gradulations travelled well to lead 2 1/2 furlongs out. She asserted herself going clear from just over a furlong out. Despite easing down in the closing stages She easily beat A Shin Undine by 3 3/4 lengths.
There are 7 races at Cork on Wednesday and two standout.
5.40: Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden.
1: Midnight Toker: Has been 3rd on both his starts including at Navan when last seen 25 days ago. Looking at the field here he sets a good standard and will be a major player.
6.10: Follow Us On Social Media Handicap.
12: Joyous Moment: Got off the mark on her second outing at The Curragh in April and then thanks to a poor draw finished 8th at Naas 11 days ago. She still has plenty of potential and is worth another chance here to improve and show she is better than that last run.
