Wednesday was a day to forget for both my picks at Naas,in the 6.40 Hernes Hill was 8th. The 3/1 favourite was prominent and disputed the lead from 2 out. He was passed soon after and had no extra from a furlong out. Sablonne won the race by a neck. It was worse in the 7.10 where One For Bobby was 10th. The 16/5 favourite was always at the rear having no extra in the final furlong, upfront Galleria Borghese beat Alizarine by 1/2 a length.
After the midweek card there is no Irish racing on Thursday, there are meetings at Newcastle, Nottingham, Newmarket, Leicester and Hamilton. The next Irish action is the start of 3 top-class days at The Curragh on Friday tips for that will be up on Thursday night.
