After another day off Irish racing returns on Friday with the start of 3 days of top-class action at The Curragh where two races stand out.
6.43: Comer Group International Curragh Cup (Group 2)
5: Wordsworth: A smart horse who has been a course winner in his career. He was a below form 7th in the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot a week ago but he wasn't suited by the trip. Much better is expected here and despite the quick turnaround he can outclass this field.
7.18: Dng Apprentice Derby.
19: Common Practice: Despite being lightly raced this horse has potential and was 4th in a handicap at Listowel when last seen 19 days ago. He needs a stiffer test and going significantly up in trip here should suit, his stable is having a good spell and he can make his presence felt.
