Despite having no extra in the closing stages that day he enjoys this course and should be judged on his second place finish at the beginning of this year. He has a good chance on form and can resume winning ways.

3: Bowerman: A three-time course and distance winner who's last victory came here 12 days ago. He led narrowly in the final 100 yards beating the favourite Firstman by 1/2 a length with the reopposing Dalvey in 3rd. Despite a weight rise he races off a handy-looking mark and can follow up.
