Wednesday's winner at Fairyhouse was Spread Boss Ted, the 2/5 favourite tracked the leaders going 2nd two out. He challenged soon after leading before the last, he stayed on well beating Glen Kiln by 3 1/2 lengths. In the other race Evies Vladimir was 2nd, the 5/1 shot sat 3rd early disputing the lead 2 out. He challenged at the last but made no impression keeping on at one pace allowing Bushmans Pass to win by 3 3/4 lengths.
Seven races take place at Gowran Park on Thursday with two taking centre stage.
2.15: John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle (Grade 2)
5: Thedevilscoachman: A smart hurdler who has 8 career wins. He was a creditable 2nd when last seen at Punchestown on New Years Eve tracking the leaders taking 2nd before the last keeping on well without troubling the winner Sir Gerhard who came home by 2 3/4 lengths. He goes back up in trip here and wears cheekpieces for the 1st time just making him the pick in a strong renewal.
2.50: Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase (Grade 3)
14: Dunboyne: A course winner in his career who ran well on his return when 4th in the Troytown at Navan back in November. He made good headway after the 12th going 4th before the last. He was 2nd in this race last year only going down by a short head so he should be taken seriously here and he can go one better.
