Neither of Sunday’s tips ran because the meeting at Naas was abandoned after the 1st race due to thick fog. The meeting had passed two morning inspections finally getting the go-ahead at 11am, however conditions got worse before and during the opening contest giving the stewards no option but to call off the rest of the races. The Grade 1 Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle will now be part of a six race card scheduled to take place on Friday.
After today's abandonment Irish racing takes a 3 day break. There are meetings at Taunton and Newcastle on Monday Exeter, Market Rasen and Southwell on Tuesday with Doncaster, Leicester and Kempton hosting Wednesday's action. The next Irish card is at Clonmel on Thursday tips for the highlights will be up on Wednesday night.
