Monday's best at Roscommon came from Going Live who was 2nd. The 16/5 shot was 3rd at halfway moving into 2nd entering the straight, he wasn't fluent from 3 out making no impression on the winner Golden Temple who easily came home by 8 1/2 lengths. In the other race Hurricane Georgie failed to finish falling at the 1st, the contest went to Paidi's Passion who beat Hascoeur Clermont by 5 lengths.
The week continues with 8 races at Sligo on Tuesday with 2 highlights.
5.45: RSS Record Storage Service Opportunity Maiden Hurdle.
3: Downtherefordancin: A fair hurdler who ran well when 4th in a handicap hurdle at Tramore 10 days ago. He was 2nd two out but dropped down to 4th by the last, the longer trip there didn't suit but the one here is more suitable. On his best form he has a big shout and back in maiden company he should finally open his account.
7.45: Glasshouse Hotel (QR.) Handicap Hurdle.
2: Flicker Of Hope: A promising horse who continued his recent improvement when winning at Wexford on his last outing 2 weeks ago. He travelled well sitting 2nd entering the straight leading from 2 out, he stayed on well comfortably beating Mahler Appeal by 2 lengths. He can make his presence felt and complete a hat-trick here.
