Tuesday's only finisher at Sligo was Downtherefordancin who was 5th. The 6/4 favourite tracked the leaders but a mistake at the 3rd saw him sitting 6th at halfway. He wasn't fluent from 4 out and soon had no extra, upfront Koori Star beat Break The Boundary by an easy 8 lengths. In the other race Flicker Of Hope was a non-runner.
Limerick hosts the midweek meeting where on a 7 race card 2 stand out.
6.30: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
2: Bacchanalian: A promising horse who finished 4th at Cork when last seen 47 days ago. He led early but was 2nd at halfway, he disputed the lead again 2 1/2 out but had no extra in the closing stages keeping on at one pace. That run was needed and there is definitely better to come and he can pick up his first career win here.
7.00: Jim Ryan Memorial Handicap.
4: Snellen: A winner at Royal Ascot 12 months ago who has also tasted victory here in her career. She was a slightly disappointing 9th at The Curragh 17 days ago but that can be overlooked as she was left poorly placed heading into the final furlong. The ground here should suit if on the quick side and she can return to winning ways.
