The best at Cork on Tuesday came from Dublin who was 2nd. The 5/2 shot led early but was pressed from halfway, he was passed 1 1/2 out by Mutasarref who won by a length. The other pick Gloriously Glam was 7th in a race won by Smoke Them Out who beat Kodilicious by 1 3/4 lengths.
A Wednesday double sees 8 races at both Bellewstown and Sligo with 2 standing out.
Bellewstown 3.50: Tankardstown House Maiden.
4: Pansy Poe: A decent filly who despite not winning in eight starts was a very creditable 3rd at The Curragh 39 days ago. She led narrowly from halfway but was strongly pressed heading into the final furlong, she was passed 150 yards from the finish keeping on at one pace. She has the best form on show here and can finally get off the mark.
Sligo 5.20: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Captain Christy Rated Novice Chase.
3: Native Speaker: A useful hurdler who picked up a first win under rules at Kilbeggan when last seen 40 days ago. He made all the running and despite having a reduced advantage in the closing stages he came home by 1 1/4 lengths. He has been a points winner in his career and should make a mark over the larger obstacles here and follow up.
