6/11/24 Dundalk

Tuesday's winner at Fairyhouse was Croke Park. The 2/5 favourite made all the running and despite having a reduced advantage from 2 out he just held on to beat Iris Emery by 3/4 of a length. In the other race What's Up Darling was 2nd. The 8/11 favourite led narrowly early increasing her lead from the 4th, despite being passed 4 out she got to the front again soon after. She made a mistake at the last allowing Any Road to pull away and win by 8 1/2 lengths.

On Wednesday there are 7 races at Dundalk with 2 main events.

3.00: Follow Us On Social Media Maiden.

7: Declaree: A useful filly who was an excellent 2nd at Fairyhouse in September. She led early facing a challenge from a furlong out, she was passed in the final 50 yards going down by 1/2 a length. She found the step up to listed level too much at Naas last time but this is a good opportunity for her to finally open her account back in calmer waters.

4.10: irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap.

1: Future Cutlet: A decent horse who showed improvement when winning at Down Royal 37 days ago. He was 6th approaching halfway and despite being short of room early in the straight he led in the final 200 yards eventually coming home by 1/2 a length. With more expected he can follow up here on his all-weather debut.
