Wednesday's winner at Dundalk was Declaree. The 4/7 favourite made all the running travelling well to go clear a furlong out, she stayed on strongly easily beating Authenicate by 4 1/4 lengths. The other pick Future Cutlet was 4th in a race won by Mags who beat Nakasero by a short head.
Thursday sees 7 races at Clonmel where there are 2 highlights.
2.05: T.A. Morris Memorial Irish EBF Mares Chase.
1: Allegorie De Vassy: A decent horse who won this race last year before going on to finish 2nd in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse and winning a listed race over at Naas. She was a bit below form when 4th in a Grade 2 chase at Punchestown on her last outing in May but she has a good record fresh which is in her favour and she can defend her crown here.
2.40: Clonmel Oil Chase (Grade 2)
1: Saint Sam: A high-class chaser who didn't need to be at his best when winning over at Auteuil on his last run 54 days ago,he also tasted victory at Cork before that and looks as good as ever. The switch back to chasing here shouldn’t be a problem and he can complete a hat-trick.
