In Sunday's Grade three's at Naas both my picks won. The 2.00 saw Anzadam travel well from 2 out leading at the last, the 1/10 favourite stayed on strongly easily beating Beacon Edge by 11 lengths. In the other race Dancing City made all the running leading narrowly from 2 out, the 8/11 favourite stayed on well on the run-in comfortably beating Bioluminescence by 3 1/2 lengths. Afterwards the Willie Mullins trained horse was cut to 7/2 favourite for the Brown Advisory at the Cheltenham Festival.
A busy Monday sees 7 races at both Punchestown and Dundalk with 2 features.
Punchestown 1.40- Buy Festival 2025 Tickets Today Handicap Hurdle.
2: Slurricane: A lightly-raced horse who was a creditable 2nd at Fairyhouse when last seen 44 days ago. He was 4th at halfway improving to challenge before the last, he led narrowly soon after keeping on well but being passed close to home going down by 3/4 of a length. He makes his handicap hurdle debut here and can go one better.
Dundalk 6.45: William Hill Top Price Guarantee Handicap.
6: Lost President: A good horse who opened his account over course and distance 2 weeks ago. He was 6th two out making headway to lead inside the final furlong, he stayed on winning by 3/4 of a length. Despite a 7lb weight rise he should have enough to defy that and follow up here.
