After a day off Irish racing returns on Wednesday with 8 contests at The Curragh where 2 stand out.
6.20: Sky Bet Handicap.
2: Jorge Alvares: A horse with a decent record who's last win came at Dundalk in April. He was a very good second behind the reopposing Red Evolution at Cork 2 weeks ago where he led 1 1/2 out being challenged and passed close to home just going down by a short head. He is 2lb better off here and can reverse the placings.
7.30: Sky Bet Race To The Ebor Handicap.
7: Sixandahalf: A good horse who after finishing 2nd in the Grade 2 Dawn Run at the Cheltenham Festival was a bit below form when 3rd behind Cottesloe Sunshine in a listed race at Punchestown 34 days ago. He was an excellent 3rd in the Irish Cesarewitch on this course back in September and with more to come he can achieve a fifth career win here.
