The best at Ballinrobe on Tuesday came from Net Boy who was 2nd. The 13/8 favourite led early and was clear approaching the 4th, despite having a reduced lead he was 2 lengths in front at the last. He weakened and was passed inside the final furlong by Drumgill who won by 5 1/2 lengths. The days other pick Sunny South West was 4th in a race won by Warriors Wood who beat Spy by a neck.
On Wednesday a 7 race card at Naas takes centre stage with two standing out.
5.37: Arqana Irish EBF Marwell Stakes.
3: Havana Anna: A good horse who has improved with each start culminating with a win over course and distance a month ago. She led from 2 out staying on well inside the final furlong and easily coming home by 6 lengths. She should be suited by the step up to listed level here and can follow up.
6.40: Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes.
1: Super Sox: A horse with a decent record who's last win came in a listed race at Cork back in August last year. She ran well in a Group 3 at The Curragh when last seen recovering from a poor start taking 4th in the final furlong. Despite being off 297 days she has a good chance to pick up a 3rd career win here.
There are also 7 races at Wexford where in the 3.08 my pick is number 1 Wonleg.
