Thursday's winner came at Tipperary where Jesse Evans was 3rd at halfway challenging for a second time before the last, the 7/2 shot kept on well to lead in the final 50 yards beating Enniskerry by 1/2 a length. At Bellewstown Elly Bay was 2nd. The 5/6 favourite led from 3 out but was passed soon after making no impression in the closing stages allowing Red Autumn to pull away and win by 5 lengths.
A Friday double header sees 8 races at Wexford and 7 at Bellewstown with 2 highlights.
Wexford 4.25: Poolcourt Engineering Handicap Chase.
8: She's A Fine Wine: A decent horse who picked up a career best win at Kilbeggan 33 days ago. She travelled well sitting 2nd approaching 3 out, she challenged before the last leading on the run-in and coming home by 1 3/4 lengths. Further improvement is expected and she can follow up here.
Bellewstown 5.15: Irish EBF Median Sires Series (C &G) Maiden.
8: World Tour: A promising horse who was 3rd on debut at Down Royal 2 weeks ago. He tracked the leaders early making headway from 2 out, he made no impression soon after keeping on at one pace. He can build on that here and open his account on his 2nd career start.
