Wednesday's winner at Gowran Park was Morehampton. The 3/1 favourite led early and was 2 lengths clear a furlong out, he kept on well in the closing stages beating Punica Granatum by 1 3/4 lengths. In the other race Continuite was 7th with the contest going to Naomi Lapaglia who beat Madam Celeste by 1 3/4 lengths.
Seven races at Cork stand out on Thursday with 2 taking centre stage.
6.52: NFP Irish EBF Platinum Stakes.
6: East Hampton: A smart horse who's latest win was at Naas in March. He was a very good second behind Diego Velazquez in the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes at The Curragh when last seen 25 days ago challenging in the final 150 yards just going down by a neck. He can continue to improve and is the one to beat here.
7.22: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Give Thanks Stakes (Group 3)
4: Elizabeth Jane: A useful horse who's best performance in group company was a 4th in the Irish Oaks at The Curragh in July last year. She returned after 8 months off to finish 4th in a Group 3 on the same course 47 days ago and with the step back up in trip here sure to suit she can pick up a 3rd career win.
There are also 7 races at Tramore where in the 6.35 my pick is number 4 Raydamann.
