The best on a poor Thursday came at Tramore where Raydamann was 5th in a race won by Hasten Slowly who beat Granpa Ger by 1 3/4 lengths. Over at Cork East Hampton was 6th with the contest going to Super Sox who beat Gutsy Girl by a head while Elizabeth Jane was a non-runner.
A Friday double header sees 7 races at Tramore and 8 at Dundalk with 2 main events.
Tramore 5.00: Seamus Byrne Electrical Chase.
3: Spanish Harlem: A useful chaser who didn't need to be at his best to win at Punchestown when last seen 68 days ago. He led for a second time 2 out keeping on well and asserting himself close to home beating No Time To Wait by 1 1/4 lengths. He stands out here and should follow up.
Dundalk 5.10: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Red God Handicap.
5: Walhaan: A three-time course and distance winner who was 6th on fences debut at Kilbeggan 75 days ago. That can be overlooked but he was a good 3rd in this sphere at Leopardstown in May where he led early being passed inside the final furlong. He can definitely build on that and win again here.
