On Friday at Dundalk Walhaan was 7th in a race won by Tribal Star who beat Final Voyage by 1/2 a length while at Tramore Spanish Harlem was a non-runner.
Eight races at The Curragh top the bill on Saturday where there are 2 highlights.
3.27: Newbridge Silverware Royal Whip Stakes (Group 3.)
1: Los Angeles: A fine horse who has won both his starts here this season the Group 2 Mooresbridge by a neck and following up with the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup where he beat Anmaat by 1/2 a length. His run at Royal Ascot last time was disappointing but on his favourite track he can bounce back and take this.
4.37: Comer Group International Irish St Leger Trial Stakes (Group 3.)
5: Puppet Master: A decent horse who's last win came in a listed race at Lingfield in May where he made good headway from 2 out challenging in the final furlong and coming home by a short head. He wasn't at his best when 9th here in the Irish Derby 7 weeks ago but he still has potential and can quickly return to winning ways.
There are also 7 races at Tramore where in the 5.00 my pick is number 3 Marazion.
