Thursday's best came at Killarney where Come On The Lads was 2nd. The 9/2 shot wasn't fluent from 5 out being slightly hampered soon after, he recovered from 2 out but made no impression before the last keeping on at the same pace allowing Spy to win by 2 3/4 lengths. Over at Leopardstown Galveston was 7th in a race won by Floresta who beat Happy Pharaoh by 4 1/4 lengths.
On Friday we have seven races at both Kilbeggan and Killarney with 2 taking centre stage.
Kilbeggan 5.25: SIS Supporting Irish Racing Novice Hurdle.
4: Dysart Dasher: A fair horse who showed improvement when getting off the mark over course and distance a month ago. He made all the running going 2 lengths clear at halfway, despite a couple of mistakes he kept on well in the closing stages coming home by 3 lengths. He can continue his good form and follow up here.
Killarney 6.11: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes.
8: Expanded: A promising horse who's best performance so far was a second in the Group 1 Dewhurst at Newmarket. He was below his best when 9th in the Irish 2,000 Guineas 90 days ago but with this looking a more suitable race he can bounce back and win again.
