Friday's best came at Wexford where Intellotto was 3rd. The 13/8 shot tracked the leaders early disputing 2nd from 3 out, he made no impression entering the straight dropping to 3rd at the last. Upfront You Oughta Know beat Fine Margin by an easy 23 lengths. Over at Down Royal Three Card Brag was a non-runner.
The weekend begins on Saturday with 8 races at The Curragh where 2 top the bill.
2.52: Heider Family Sables Round Tower Stakes (Group 3.)
5: Mission Central: A lightly-raced horse who improved on his debut when winning over course and distance 3 weeks ago. He led for a second time 2 1/2 out soon going clear, he stayed on strongly easily coming home by 8 lengths. He should take the step up to group level here in his stride and this smart prospect can follow up.
4.37: Paddy Power Supporting Cancer Trials Ireland Irish Cambridgeshire.
2: Godwnson: A fair horse who disappointed on his hat-trick bid when fifth at Goodwood 29 days ago. His best victory before that was in the Lincoln at Doncaster in March where he made headway from a furlong out staying on strongly to lead on the line winning by a nose. He should go well again here and take this.
